TAG Alliances organized its virtual meeting on 29 November 2022 with the topic of “TAG Alliances Asia-Pacific Virtual Meet-up”.

Our director, Mr. Joseph Yau attended the meeting and shared his professional thoughts with other members. All attendees had the opportunity to provide an update on their firm and jurisdiction. During the meeting, professional chefs were invited to teach attendees how to make Nasi Goreng Kampoeng!

The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK) hosted the 2022 Hong Kong Chartered Tax Adviser Conference themed " Leading Tax Profession in the New Era " on 18 November 2022. TIHK convened government officials, and experts in tax, legal, accounting, education and other professional and commercial sectors in Hong Kong and overseas to the Conference to share and discuss tax issues that are affecting the world. Our director, Mr. Joseph Yau attended the conference and dinner as one of the advisors.

TIHK also invited 国家税务总局王道树副局长, 国家税务总局深圳市税务局郭晓林局长 and 国家税务总局广州市税务局杨绪春局长 as guests of honour to speak at the Conference together with other prominent experts.

Year 2022 is TIHK’s Golden Jubilee, which represents a remarkable milestone to tax profession for its half-century contribution and development in Hong Kong. The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong 50th Anniversary Cup Race and members dinner was held at Happy Valley Racecourse on 28 September 2022.

The commemoration of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China is an important annual event for the accounting profession in Hong Kong. To celebrate the 73rd National Day this year, the Association of Hong Kong Accounting Advisors, Hong Kong Association of Registered Public Interest Entity Auditors Limited, Hong Kong Business Accountants Association, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors are co-hosting a celebration.

In light of the current pandemic situation, the celebration will be held in the format of a ceremony without food and beverage provided.

Our director, Mr. Joseph Yau attended the ceremony on 23 September 2022.

The "Partner Employer Award" is organised by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business Limited. It aims to commend the efforts of enterprises in actively offering internship to students and employment opportunities to the disabled, ethnic minorities, rehabilitated persons, re-trained persons and retirees etc.

Our company has been awarded the 2022 "Partner Employer Award" in recognition of our contribution in offering internship to students and employment opportunities to the disabled. 

In future, we will continue to play a constructive role in promoting social responsibility and providing opportunities to our young generation.

Our many achievements were also highlighted, along with insights and interviews featuring our members, other industry professionals, and our clients. We welcome everyone to join us as we honor what came before, celebrate what we have, and ponder what lies ahead.
